Does Milk Do The Body Good???

In short, milk is not good but in a society based on "repeaters" it is beyond difficult to get through the standard conditioning.

Many people are sick today. No one can argue with that yet if you interview every business person on the planet we would get every single company stating that their product claims are sound and/or healthy. Funny thing is......someone has to be wrong if the results are so wrong.

In the business world it is a constant game of "it can't be my product that is making people sick and fat". With many ill, it is only logical to assume something commonly consumed by many is causing the common illnesses. Milk is just such a product.

Please click here to watch John McDougall MD give some information about milk that you may want to hear.

I googled the writer of the article in question and you can take a glimpse of her here. Is she a nice lady? Most likely. Should she be giving out advice regarding weight loss, nutrition and health etc? You have to make that call yourself.

You can't give what you don't have but that simple concept was put out with the trash many decades ago in Canada, as today most people dishing health information are not healthy. Actually knowing what you are talking about is no longer a criteria for getting and keeping employment.

Have you also noticed that there is no opposing views given regarding milk in the writer's article. (Standard Freeholder Sept 30th 2009 page 9) Where is the unbiased and opposing view in the article regarding the studies that prove milk is bad for you. The writer is a repeater, plain and simple.

If you write me anything regarding how good milk is there is no way you watched Dr. McDougall's video above.

In my opinion, milk is completely overrated! Fruits and veggies are more beneficial in many different ways as well as giving you your calcium. As for milk helping you lose weight, that's ridiculous! I breastfed my daughter for as long as possible but shortly after her 1st birthday she was not interested anymore. We then introduced her to almond milk and that was very frown upon since the fat content is somewhat lower. Her weight is on the low side for her age so I have on occasion thought about possibly giving her cows milk to help her gain weight. My husband refused! After watching this video I am more at ease with our decision but if you have any tips on how to get my daughter's weight up I would really appreciate it. Thank you for everything you do, I really value your articles and blogs.

A good book for a healthy raising of baby is, "Real Food for Mother and Baby: The Fertility Diet, Eating for Two, and Baby's First Foods (Paperback) by Nina Planck. The body knows best.

My children have never had a drop of milk and they are the strongest kids you have ever seen (some bias there)! We do have dairy, but it is a treat. Most people don't know that dairy - especially low fat - CAUSES calcium and other minerals to be leached from the bones to buffer the acid effect of the milk. The health unit doesn't tell you that.

Proof?

Lunar Osteoporosis Update, Nov. 1997, summarizing findings from the famous Harvard Nurses Health Study.

American Journal of Epidemiology, 1994 demonstrating that dairy consumption in early years increases risk of hip fractures.

Would you mind helping me and everyone else who is interested by linking to the actual articles including titles and/or authors? The American Journal of Epidemiology publishes hundreds of articles a year.

Funny you say that "Most people don't know that dairy - especially low fat - CAUSES calcium and other minerals to be leached from the bones to buffer the acid effect of the milk." I bet most people don't know fluoride causes your teeth and bones to become weaker not stronger among other toxic effects! I must be the only Dental Hygienist in Cornwall who doesn't recommend fluoride!
