Test Your Programming

I often talk about something called "software programming" when trying to get people onto the healthy path in life. What this means is that from an early age people have been "programmed" to believe in certain things, concepts and ideas.

For example, one person may believe that getting ill is a signal to run out of the house toward hospitals/doctors, medications and surgeries etc. Another person may believe illness is a cue to review key lifestyle habits and/or their diet....in order to pin point the cause of the illness.

One type of programming empowers and the other takes away power. (by giving the power to others - this often leaves the person feeling "powerless" and may make them feel empty inside) One program teaches self responsibility and one teaches people to hand over responsibility to third parties. One teaches self-control and the other does not.

Regardless of issue, one type of programming prepares a person to look outwards for help and the other teaches a person to look inward for help.

You can test your own programming right now. Click here or press play on the same video below. Watch this 1 minute TV ad and tell me what you see.

In a later post I will describe how two people can watch the exact same TV ad and see two completely different things.

I used to have the standard "software programming" and now I have healthy "software programming". Can you guess which one brought me health, wealth and happiness? In the next blog I will compare the software programming I had 10 years ago and the one I have now. (in regards to the ad below)

Hey, add this drug to the drugs you're already taking & you could die many awful deaths or become permanently debilitated. Deal or no deal? I think I would meditate & exercise my way out of depression first.

Unbelievable! 40% of the commercial was based on all the (possible) negative side effects of 'Abilify'. People shouldn't ignore this information.

The cure to depression isn't a 'pill', but it's an evaluation of your life on all levels (physical, mental, and spiritual).

UNBELIEVABLE. Does this not speak to the FACT that so-called anti-depressant drugs DO NOT WORK? That we have to add a "booster shot" drug (along with its own adverse, even deadly effects) speaks volumes, yet people still won't "get it."

I actually thought this drug was a joke and looked it up online only to find out it's actually real.....unbelievable!! Dispicable!

I see that the drug could possibly have you ending up with more problems then solutions! More pain and aggravation on top of depression! And if it did work...you just replace one problem for many others...seems like an endless cycle!

The product should be named "DisAbilify"! I can't believe that these products actually make it to the consumer. This just proves how much corruption there is in the pharmaceutical industry. These companies are targeting people at their most vulnerable states where they are just looking for a fast way out. It sounds like taking this medication might be the permanent way out.

I would seriously be looking into alternative therapies and lifestyle changes. But you have to remember that the people at greatest risk from these pill pushers are feeling desperate and unstable. They probably are not educated about alternative medicines as they are not even endorsed by our governments or covered by most health insurance. It's time for change!

Looks like the cycle of ill health rolls on for those people in the commercial. More drugs are never the answer. Less drugs or optimally no drugs is the answer. Funny thing about people taking drugs is that they think they would be sick without them but they are not afraid of being sick on them.
